Self-taught guitarist with varied influences (from classical to metal), he notably played with the group DAMYO which shared the stage with Morgan Berthet (MYRATH, KLONE, EYELESS…) and Christophe Godin. He mainly holds the rhythm guitar in DARUMA, and he is the guarantor of the fat and powerful sound of the group.

A musician with a solid classical training, Elodie is the singer of AUSPEX, a symphonic metal group from Grenoble, with whom she has recorded two albums and created two symphonic shows with orchestra (AD ASTRA and L’HORLOGE ET LE PANTIN). She also worked in the live / studio project KALISIA, which took her to HELLFEST, and sang in the group ALKEMYST for a French tour. Elodie is the voice and soul of DARUMA; She was the one who brought the Japanese touch, gave the band its name, and designed the DARUMA figurine / mascot.

Tristan has about fifteen years of drumming. Self-taught musician very early on by the grooves, rhythms and syncopations of Heavy and Nu metal drums, Tristan also lends a very attentive ear to the melodies and melancholic and deep atmospheres of symphonic metal, as well as melodic death metal or metalcore more modern. These are the main representatives of these areas who inspired his drums playing, and are continually participating in his musical evolution. What he likes is the harmony of instruments and voices, it is the group that forms a whole, it is also the subtle melodic or rhythmic demarcations that so-and-so will not notice, but that others will see. like a touch of genius. He sees the drums as a melodic as well as a rhythmic instrument, but that doesn't stop him from strafing the bass drum when a head bang is needed!
Outside of metal, his musical tastes are extremely varied and can quite get lost in reggae, rock, blues, film music, classical, rap, trance, etc. Everything is good to take, As long as the piece is generously offered!
After a few years abroad, and a lot (too much) of time spent on the guitar, it's time to pick up the drumsticks, and it is with great pleasure that I join the Daruma adventure!

Self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Julien has played in different groups, including KE ONDA, who has scoured the big festivals and French stages, until sharing the stage with Manu chao. He founded the acoustic duo JE with Elodie, and also participated with her in the symphony shows of the group AUSPEX. So lots of music, but he lacked a personal metal project. And here is DARUMA, in which he composes, writes and produces, and mixes his various influences (Rock, metal, prog, Celtic, folk, Latin, etc…)!

Self-taught musician with eclectic tastes (jazz, funk, metal, etc.), he started with the guitar, which he practiced for a few years, but Pascal quickly understood that the bass was definitely “his instrument”, the one through which he could express himself fully. He notably recorded and toured with the Grenoble groups ELTHARIA and SOMDRAVZ. A ball of energy and a great lover of powerful metal, he represents and transmits the raw strength of DARUMA!

The youngest, but not the worst player in the band. Loic is a musical genius, he can play almost anything, from classical piano to pure prog rock madness, he just does it all, with written parts or improvising crazy licks. He's the fresh guy of DARUMA !
